What's wrong
An incorrect bolt may have been installed in one of the ladder legs, allowing it to contact and damage the CNG cylinders.
Why it matters
A damaged CNG tank can leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.
The fix
Heil will replace the ladder bracket, free of charge.

Defect: The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain CNG tailgate ladder kits sold as replacement parts, installed on Heil CNG front loader vehicles only. An incorrect bolt may have been installed in one of the ladder legs, allowing it to contact and damage the CNG cylinders.
Consequence: A damaged CNG tank can leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Heil will replace the ladder bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2026. Owners may contact Heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345. Heil's number for this recall is SN-26-001.
